Other Functions
You can make a fi ne master for the document with both text and photographs by specifying the
area for TEXT●ERASE●OUTLINE/PATTERN●NEGATIVE IMAGE.
Edit modes
●TEXT Makes text, in specifi ed area of the document with both text and photograph,
clear with proper density for fi ne master making.
●ERASE Erases unnecessary area of the document and makes master for necessary area
only. For 2-color printing, it switches between “INSIDE” and “OUTSIDE” in the fi rst
specifi ed area by “SWITCH ERASE AREA” mode. You do not have to specify the
area again for 2-color printing.
●OUTLINE/PATTERN
OUTLINE Outlines text easily such as title or product name etc. to give a strong impression.
PATTERN Upgrades image using various kinds of pattern. You can select it from 17 types of
pattern such as hatching.
Edit Function: Edit Image
Edit Image
This function edits the image of the document.
There are two functions, Make Up and Trimming in Edit Image.
● Make Up
Make Up function edits the image of the document with both text and photograph for fi ne
master making.
● Trimming
You can specify the necessary part of the document and print it with the unnecessary part
trimmed.
