1 ThisequipmentcomplieswithPart68oftheFCCRulesandthe
requirementsadoptedbytheACTA.Onthebottompanelofthisequipment
isalabel,thatcontainsamongotherinformation,aproductidentifierinthe
formatUS:RISAL10BMD2400.Ifrequested,thisnumbermustbeprovidedto
thetelephonecompany.

2 Thisequipmentisdesignedtobeconnectedtothetelephonenetworkusing
aterminalblock,RJ31XorRJ11.SeeInstallationInstructionsfordetails.
3 Aplugandjackusedtoconnectthisequipmenttothepremiseswiringand
telephonenetworkmustcomplywiththeapplicableFCCPart68rulesand
requirementsadoptedbytheACTA.Acomplianttelephonecordand
modularplugisprovidedwiththisproduct.Itisdesignedtobeconnectedto
acompatiblemodularjackthatisalsocompliant.Seeinstallationinstructions
fordetails.
4 TheRENisusedtodeterminethenumberofdevicesthat
maybeconnected
toatelephoneline.ExcessiveRENsonatelephonelinemayresultinthe
devicesnotringinginresponsetoanincomingcall.Inmostbutnotallareas,
thesumofRENsshouldnotexceedfive(5.0).Tobecertainofthenumberof
devicesthatmaybeconnectedtoaline,asdeterminedbythetotalRENs,
contactthelocaltelephonecompany.TheRENofthisalarmsystemispartof
theproductidentifierthathastheformatUS:RISAL10BMD2400.
5 IfthisequipmentUS:RISAL10BMD2400causesharmtothetelephone
network,thetelephonecompanywillnotifyyouinadvancethattemporary
discontinuanceofservicemayberequired.Butifadvancenoticeisnot
practical,thetelephonecompanywillnotifythecustomerassoonas
possible.Also,youwillbeadvisedofyourrighttofileacompliantwiththe
FCCifyoubelieveitisnecessary.

Thetelephonecompanymaymakechangesinitsfacilities,equipment,
operationsorproceduresthatcouldaffecttheoperationoftheequipment.If
thishappensthetelephonecompanywillprovideadvancenoticeinorder
foryoutomakenecessarymodificationstomaintainuninterruptedservice.
