Responding to Clock Failure Alarms
A clock failure alarm occurs if the unit’s internal clock malfunctions. A clock failure alarm might
also occur if the battery becomes too drained during storage. See page 134 for storage
information.
1. Press and release POWER MODE to continue into Measuring Mode.
CAUTION: If you operate the instrument after a clock failure, data will still be logged but the
date/time will be incorrect. Set the date/time as described on page 113 as soon as
possible to ensure logged data uses the correct date/time.
2. Attempt to set the date using the DATE User Mode menu item as described on page 113.
3. If the date cannot be set correctly, contact RKI Instruments, Inc. as soon as possible.
