A Test strip (top of strip, TG in the example)

C Test strip (back of strip)
The imprinted barcode is used to identify
the type and lot of the test strip.
D Round window
After performing a blood test, turn the
strip over and visually check that the
round window is evenly coloured.
E Code strip (top of strip, TG in the example)
Supplied with each test strip container.
F Code strip (back of strip)
The imprinted barcode contains lot-
specific information which is read and
stored in the meter.
