Starting the measurement
9 Close the measurement chamber flap.
This automatically starts the test.
Measurement starts. The time needed to run a
test depends on the test parameter. This time
is shown in the display and counted down to
“0”. The measurement times of the test
parameters are:
■ Glucose: 12 seconds
■ Cholesterol: 180 seconds
■ Triglycerides: max. 174 seconds
■ Lactate: 60 seconds
For Glucose, Cholesterol, Lactate only:
The meter signals that it has reached the last
four seconds of measurement time by emit-
ting one short beep per second (if beeper is
activated). Completion of the test and the sub-
sequent display of results is indicated by a
longer beep.
Note: If you have set the beeper to OFF, the
meter will not beep when the result is
displayed.
