Sample material
Fresh capillary blood is used as sample material. You need a hanging blood drop to perform a
test. For more information on sample material and use of heparinized blood, refer to the appro-
priate test strip package insert.
WARNING
Protection against infection
Any object coming into contact with human blood is a potential source of
infection.
Patient Self-Testers: There is a potential risk of infection if you let other
people use your meter or lancing device. Do not share your meter or
lancing device with any other person.
