During battery operation, the meter always displays the
battery power level.
The meter retains results in memory even when no bat-
tery pack is inserted. All settings other than date and time
are retained as well.
When replacing the battery pack, insert the new
battery pack within 24 hours of removing the old one.
Otherwise you may need to re-enter date and time.
