Inserting the code chip
1 Remove the old code chip, if one is inserted in the
meter.
2 Check that the number on the code chip matches
the number on the label of the test strip container.
3 Slide the new code chip into the code chip slot (as
shown) until you feel it snap into place.
If the code chip is missing or incorrectly inserted, a corre-
sponding error message appears in the display (refer to
the “Troubleshooting” section of this manual).
