CE Conformity
Conformity with the Low Voltage (LV) Directive and Electromagnetic
Compatibility (EMC) Directive has been demonstrated using harmonized
European Norm (EN) standards published in the Official Journal of the
European Communities. PowerFlex Drives comply with the EN standards
listed below when installed according to the User and Reference Manual.

EN50178 Electronic equipment for use in power installations.
EMC Directive (89/336/EEC)
EN61800-3 Adjustable speed electrical power drive systems Part 3:
EMC product standard including specific test methods.

ATTENTION: To avoid possible equipment damage, please
note that PowerFlex High Power common bus drives do
not have
precharge
. In addition, precharge capability must be provided in
the system and disconnect switches must
not be used between
the input of the drive and a common DC bus without the use of
an external precharge device.
