WARNINGS ON THE USE OF ELECTRICAL FUNCTIONS
If the user's state of health requires it, and for his/her own safety, lock the bed's
movement functions intended for use by the patient and place the bed in the
lowest position, with the platforms horizontal and the bed sides rails raised;
Before activating the CPR function, make sure that none of the user's limbs are
sticking out from the mattress, and that nothing is under the bed deck, as this
could result in SERIOUS INJURY AND/OR POTENTIAL BREAKAGE;
The CPR function is to be USED IN EMERGENCIES ONLY. Use of this function for
any other purpose could result in SERIOUS INJURY to the patient or operator.
Always position the bed at a reduced height when the patient is unattended or
asleep, to reduce the risk of INJURY AND FALLS;
Do not leave tables or other appliances requiring access under the bed when it is
lowered to its lowest position, as this will cause SERIOUS MECHANICAL
DAMAGE.
Always ensure that no objects or equipment interfere with the movement of the
moving parts of the bed before operating any of the movement controls, e.g.
patient or staff members, medical equipment, etc. This could result in SERIOUS
INJURY AND/OR EQUIPMENT BREAKDOWN.
