5) Sending Test Message Commands and Status Requests
from / to the Communicator
It is possible to send an SMS from a mobile phone to the Communicator device. It is
done by using the following SMS message formats:
• Siren Reset: If siren reset is requested, the following SMS message should be
sent:
'!RX' > 'Send' - were 'R' – stands for Reset,
'X' – stands for house number, can be any positive
number from 1 to 32.
'Send' – end the SMS message by clicking on 'Send' key.
If several house numbers have to be typed in the SMS, use the following
format:
'!RX#X#X' > 'Send' – '#' sign separates between every
house number.
'Send' – end the SMS message by clicking on 'Send' key.
If all houses should be siren reset, use the following format:
'!RALL' > 'Send' – were 'ALL' – can be typed both in
Capital letters and small letters.
'Send' – end the SMS message by clicking on 'Send' key.
• Alarm Reset: If reset to all the alarms is desired, the following SMS message
should be sent:
'!C' > 'Send' – were 'C' – stands for the Communicator.
'Send' – end the SMS message by clicking on 'Send' key.
Note that this option does not consist of any parameters.
• Messages Acknowledgement: If SMS messages acknowledgement is
requested, the following SMS message should be sent (note that this selection
is optional):
- '!AON' > 'Send'– request to receive a respond message to every
sent SMS (after executing the SMS message request).
'A' – stands for Acknowledgement.
'Send' – end the SMS message by clicking on 'Send' key.
- '!AOFF' > 'Send' - request not to receive a respond message to
every sent SMS (after executing the SMS message request).
'A' – stands for Acknowledgement.
'Send' – end the SMS message by clicking on 'Send' key.
