7) Voice – Dialing to the communicator
It is possible to dial the communicator in order to receive information regarding the
alarms. In order to enable this option, the parameter 'Dial in' (see menu 4.1.1) needs to
be set to 'Yes' (see Fig. 82).
In order to receive the information in voice mode only, unlike data, follow the next
steps:
 Dial the controller. Wait 'X' rings ('X' presents the number of rings less than
the parameter 'Auto Answer' that has been set in menu 4.1.1) and hang up (see
Fig. 81).
 Wait 5 seconds.
 Dial once again and follow the instructions the controller offers.
Note that the user should not wait more than 1 minute between the two calls.

o If 'Auto Answer' parameter is zero (0) the Communicator answers in voice
mode.
o If 'Auto Answer' parameter is zero and in addition 'Voice Dial In' parameter is
'Yes', the controller answers always in voice mode.
