On current peaks
It relies responsibility of the integrator to care about inrush peaks during the operation of the
sensor. Current peaks do vary widely (amplitude and duration) depending on the host source,
the quality of the cabling, voltage level, impedances and loads on the host system, the pin lines
selected to power the device, temperature and throughout versions of the hardware and
software.
The following graphs intention is to serve as a reference and not as specification.
5.5.1 Current consumption detail: “Powering up”
Typical response of the sensor if powered via the PWR_IN under typical conditions (5 V; T = 25°C;
Laboratory power source)
Figure 24: Typical current peaks during powering up
5.5.2 Current consumption detail: “measurement sequence”
Typical response of the sensor if powered via the PWR_IN under typical conditions (5 V; T = 25°C;
Laboratory power source)
