8 LRF Interface Tools
8.1 LRF Interface Kit
Safran Vectronix AG can assist the integration of the LRF 6019 by supplying an LRF Interface Kit (part
number 914752). The aim of the LRF Interface Kit is to enable connection and powering the LRF 6019
before integration begins and to increase personnel safety. The Interface Kit and the LRF Integrator
Manual is enough to get a first impression of the LRF Module.
The Interface Kit consists of:
 Suitcase
 Safran Vectronix AG USB stick (incl. manual and terminal software and drivers)
 USB to LRF Interface cable including connector to an external power supply
 Eye Safety Kit
 Screws to mount the LRF
As an alternative to the Safran Vectronix AG Terminal Software, other terminal programs can be used for
testing and PC communication with the LRF. We recommend PTronix SimpleTerm SE. For further

8.2 Interface Cable
An Interface Cable (part number 914225) is available that provides a connection to the LRF via a DUBOX
12 pin shrouded header (Figure 32). The interface cable is connected to the LRF system connector as
shown in Figure 33.
