Function Key Programming
Three programs are used to program function keys:
• Program 70 - Function Key Options Programming is used to set each keys individual
options
• Program 80 - Function Key Descriptor Programming is used to program a 18 character
alpha numeric descriptor. In the case of the #/No Sale key, provision is made to program a
separate descriptor for the Non Add # and No Sale functions.
• Program 90 - Function Key HALO or Percentage Rate Programming is used to set a high
amount limit (HALO). In the case of Percentage keys (% 1 ~ % 5), it is for
discount/surcharge rate programming; or conversion rate is programmed in the case of
Currency Conversion (1 ~ 4).
