Example 4-7 illustrates how to change the previous example to provide time-gated
recording data for the predefined time on a certain day.
The setpoint will provide recording data every 20 second (assuming that the timer
interval the same as in Example 4-5) on the 12th Aug., 1997, from 08:30:00 to
17:15:00.

In the same way, you can use (instead of time) any numeric or logical trigger to
provide periodical condition-gated operations. The following example illustrates
generating pulses through relay output #1 with a 0.5 second width repeated each 1
second, to provide a flashing alarm signal when real-time total active power through
load exceeds 20200 kW (see Example 4-8). Interval timer #1 is assumed to be
configured for a 1 second count interval.
