1 Preface
1.1 Basic notes
These operating instructions are to make it easier for you to operate this machine and to get to
know it, as well as using it for its intended use.
These operating instructions contain important notes to securely, properly and economically op-
erate this machine.
Observing the operating instructions helps avoid dangers, reduce downtimes and repair costs.
Proper treatment of this machine increases its reliability and service life.
In addition to the information in the operating instructions, instructions regarding present national
provisions on accident prevention provisions and environmental protection must be observed.
The operating instructions must be read and applied by any person who is charged with the fol-
lowing work at and with this machine:
 Operation, removal of interferences in the work process, removal of production wastes,
care, disposal of operating and auxiliary substances.
 Maintenance (servicing, inspection, repairs) and (or) transport

The agreed and confirmed sales and delivery conditions apply.
Warranty and liability claims in case of person and property damage are excluded if they are due
to one or several of the following causes:
 Non-observance of the notes and operating instructions
 Non-intended use of the machine
 Improper assembly, commissioning, operation and maintenance/servicing of the ma-
chine
 Maintenance and servicing by staff not authorised by Schwarz GmbH
 Operation of the machine with defective safety devices or improperly applied or non-
functional safety and protection devices
 Use of other than genuine Schwarz GmbH spare parts
 Non-observance of the notes in the operating instructions regarding transport, storage,
assembly, commissioning, maintenance and setting of the machine
 Independent constructional changes to this machine
 Independent changes of technical parameters (e.g. performance)
 Defective monitoring of parts subject to wear
 Improperly performed repairs
 Disasters due to foreign body effects and force majeure
