Prerequisites
A pushbut
ton or a T-piece with pushbutton is connected.
A switch is connected.
Pushbutton
T
he pushbutton is mounted at the system connection of the sender between the
system plug and the connecting cable.
The pushbutton can be temporarily mounted for alignments or used to maintain a
permanent connection.
Functionality of the pushbutton
Press the pushbutton once and release: integrated laser alignment aid is switched
on
Press the pushbutton again and release: integrated laser alignment aid is
switched off
Switch
T
he switch is not suitable for safety light curtains where the sender and receiver are
connected via a T-connector.
The switch is mounted in the control cabinet. A relay or a PLC can also be used as
a switch to enable the integrated laser alignment aid to be switched on and off via a
control panel, for example.
The switch must be connected in accordance with the circuit diagram below.

IO-Link
If t
he sender and receiver are connected with each other, the laser alignment aid can
also be activated by a command from IO-Link.
