10.2 Regular cleaning
Overview
Depending on the ambient conditions of the safety light curtain, the front screens must
be cleaned regularly and in the event of contamination. Static charges can cause dust
particles to be attracted to the front screen.
The deflector mirrors also must be cleaned regularly and in the event of contamination.
If contamination increases, the two lit diagnostics LEDs 1 and 2 show that the receiver
is getting a weak signal from the sender. If the device is not cleaned and contamination
increases, the safety light curtain switches to the OFF state when contamination is high.
