Description
7.2 Vacuum circuit-breaker type 2
Features • Vacuum circuit-breaker for rated voltages from 7.2 kV to 24 kV
• According to IEC/EN 62271-100 / VDE 0671-100
• Climate-independent vacuum interrupter poles in the gas-filled switchgear vessel
• Application in hermetically welded switchgear vessel in conformity with the system
• Operating mechanism located outside the switchgear vessel in the front operating
mechanism box
• Maintenance-free according to IEC/EN 62 271-1 / VDE 0671-1
The vacuum circuit-breaker consists of a vacuum interrupter unit with integrated three-
position disconnector located in the switchgear vessel, and the associated operating
mechanisms.
The vacuum circuit-breaker is a circuit-breaker without automatic reclosing.
Operating function The closing and opening spring is charged by means of the operating lever supplied, or by the
motor (option), until the latching of the closing/opening spring is indicated ("spring charged"
indication). Then, the vacuum circuit-breaker can be closed manually or electrically (option).
