3 Structure and function
3.1 Overview
In this document the following point detectors are referred to collectively using the
term 'Automatic fire detectors':
● Neural fire detectors FDOOT221, FDOOT241-x/-Ax
● Wide-spectrum smoke detector FDO2x1
● Heat detector FDT2x1
The same detectors may have different names, depending on the document type:
Designation 1
(e.g. in technical documentation etc.)
Designation 2
(e.g. in data sheets etc.)

Neural fire detector
● Can be set as neural fire detector, wide-spectrum smoke detector or
heat detector on the part of the software
● Selectable detection behavior thanks to application-specific ASA
parameter sets
● The complete number of parameter sets is only available when
operating on the FDnet
Can be used either addressed in MS8/PMT or in FDnet
Can be used collectively or addressed in the FDnet
Can be used addressed on the FDnet
Can be used addressed in AnalogPLUS or FDnet
Replaces existing fire detectors DO1131A/DOT1131A/DT1131A/DT1132A
Can be used addressed in SIGMALOOP or FDnet
Replaces existing fire detectors SDF1200/SDF2200/SDF3100/SDT2100
Can be used addressed in interactive FDnet
Replaces existing fire detectors
DOT1151A, DOT1152A, DO1151A, DO1152A, DO1153A, DT1152A
Can be used collectively or addressed in the FDnet
