3.5.6 Internal alarm indicator
The point detectors have an internal alarm indicator. The internal alarm indicator
shows the operating condition of the point detector in FDnet according to the table
below:
Normal IAI flashes weakly every 4 seconds
Test mode IAI flashes weakly every 0.5 seconds
Alarm IAI lights up every second
Fault IAI off
The extended flashing behavior of the point detectors FDOOT241-A and
FDOOT241-Ax when ES ≥50 is described in the 'Extended flashing behavior of
the alarm indicators [➙ 40]' chapter.
The following displays are possible when operating the FDOOT241-A9 point
detector in collective mode:
Flashing mode of alarm indicator
Normal IAI off
Test mode IAI flashes weakly every 0.5 seconds
1
Alarm IAI flashes every second
Fault IAI flashes twice every 4 seconds
1
Only during the first three minutes of operation after the detector line being started up or reset.
The following displays are possible when operating the FDOOT241-A3 point
detector in AnalogPLUS mode and the FDOOT241-A4 in SIGMALOOP mode:
Flashing mode of alarm indicator
Normal IAI flashes weakly approx. every 4 seconds
Alarm IAI lights up approx. every second
The following display is possible when operating the FDOOT241-A5 point detector
in interactive mode:
Flashing mode of alarm indicator
Normal IAI flashes weakly approx. every 4 seconds
Test mode IAI flashes weakly approx. every 1.5 seconds
Alarm IAI lights up approx. every 2 seconds
Fault IAI off
