10 - 20 Mechanical systems
• Set S10 to the OFF position.
• Reinstall all covers except single tank covers "A" and "B".
• Make sure that the screw mountings between the fork and the arm are tightened
properly.
• Remove the rope between the handle and the foot while keeping the single tank on the
table.
• Tighten the adjustment screw until the single tank and arm are balanced. Refer to the
section "Adjustment of arm system".
• Switch on the collimator lamp and check compliance of the light and radiation fields with
the specifications in the section "Replacement of collimator".
• Reattach the remaining covers.
Do not stretch the cable too tightly in the arm.
There must be enough slack so that the cable is not pulled by the
mechanical movements.
