Activating a diagnostic call
In the event of connection problems with a specific destination, the admi-
nistrator may ask you to enter an activation code before the number of the
subscriber, which can be used to initiate tracing of the call data on the pho-
ne. The activation code, which must be provided to you by the administra-
tor and which comprises a leading asterisk, followed by three digits and
the hash sign as the terminating character, must be entered before the ac-
tual phone number. At the end of the call, the call-related data is sent for
further analysis to the DLS server, which then passes it to the "OpenScape
Voice Trace Manager".
