6.3.2 Grounding of the X-300EEC
Function/operating ground
On the X-300EEC, the function/operating ground is connected to the grounding bolts on the
bottom of the device regardless of how the device is mounted and regardless of the power
supply.
Protective ground
On the X-300EEC with multirange power supply unit 100...240 V AC / 60...250 V DC, the
protective ground is connected extra to the operating ground.
CAUTION
Connecting protective ground for the X-300EEC
It is essential that you connect the main protective conductor for the X-300EEC with
multirange power supply unit 100...240 V AC / 60...250 V DC via the housing bolts on the
bottom of the device.
