CAUTION
The permitted operating temperature is decided by the entire device (modular device (M)
fitted with modules).
The modular devices (M) are devices with a modular design and the inserted modules are
an integral part of the modular device (M).
As a result, the properties of the MM900 media modules and the SFP transceivers decide
the permitted operating temperatures of the entire device (modular device (M) fitted with
modules).
The following table shows the X308-2M.
WARNING
Horizontal mounting position/installation of the X308-2M
When using the SFP transceivers (in the specified temperature range, see technical
specifications) only horizontal installation is permitted.
Vertical mounting position/installation of the X308-2M reduces the maximum permitted
ambient temperature
If the device is installed in the vertical position, the maximum permitted ambient
temperature is reduced to +50 °C.
