"Digital output" parameter
The following functions can be assigned to the "Digital output" parameter:
• Energy pulse output; can be programmed for active or reactive energy pulses
• Indication of the direction of rotation
• Operating state display of the device
• Signaling of limit violations
• Switching output for remote control via the interface
Usage type of the digital input
• Not used:
Digital output is deactivated.
Device ready for operation: The digital output is ON.
Usage of the digital output
• Device ON:
The digital output signals that the device is switched on.
• Remote controlled:
The digital output is controlled by remote access.
• Direction of rotation:
Digital output is switched on by an electric counter-clockwise rotating field
and remains active for as long as the field is rotating in this direction.
• Limit violation:
Digital output is switched on by a limit violation and remains active for as long
as this persists. The "COUNTER SOURCE" property selects the limit value to be
monitored. The definition of the limit is stored in "Advanced > Limits".
• Energy pulse:
Digital output signals the number of pulses set for each energy unit (e.g.
kWh). The energy counter specified in the "COUNTER SOURCE" field is
(only for: limit
violation)
The limit value (for limit violation) selects the limit value whose status is output to
the digital output.
Range: Limit 0 to 5 and limit logic
(only for: energy
pulse)
The counter source (for energy pulse) selects the type of cumulative power and
the import value that triggers the pulse when that value is reached.
Range:
• Counter Import Active Energy (kWh)
• Counter Export Active Energy (kWh)
• Counter Import Reactive Energy (kvarh)
• Counter Export Reactive Energy (kvarh)
Active Energy
