Inserting the slider
To insert the slider:
How to install a slider
1 Push the slider through the guide
slot until it is seated firmly on the
module. Insert the module into the
slot.
Caution
No pressure should be applied to the module! Therefore, do not apply excessive force to the
slider when you push it onto the module.
2 Cut off the rest of the slider:
Use a knife to notch the slider
at the upper edge of the
bracket and then break this
section off. Cut off the residual
element using a side cutter.
Notes on the Allocation of Resources
The two slots for the PCI cards each have an exclusive interrupt. Information on the
assignment of PCI IRQs to the PCI slots is found in the "Advanced Menu" or "Bus Board"
section.
