11.1 Removing and installing hardware components

Preparation
Note
For the BIOS setting "Profile: Standard" the configuration data of the device is deleted when
the battery is replaced.
For the BIOS setting "Profile: User" the configuration data of the device is retained; only the
date and time has to be reconfigured.
1. Note down the current settings of the BIOS Setup.
A list in which you can note down this information is found in the BIOS manual.
2. Disconnect the device from mains and unplug all cables.
Notice
The battery can also be exchanged when the device is operating. However, we
recommend switching off the device, beforehand.
