Electrical isolation
With ET 200MP, there is electrical isolation between:
● The load circuits/process and all other circuit components of the ET 200MP
● The communication interface (PROFINET) of the interface module and all other circuit
components
The following image shows the potential relationships of the ET 200MP with the interface
module (using the example of the IM 155-5 PN ST). Only the most important components
are represented in the figure.

