Note
Performing tests
You must ensure the safety of your plant. Therefore, you must perform a complete functional
test and the necessary safety checks before the final commissioning of a plant.
Also allow for any possible foreseeable errors in the tests. In this way, you avoid
endangering persons or plants during operation.

Supply voltage to the I/O controller is switched on I/O controller documentation
IO controller is in the RUN operating mode I/O controller documentation
The operating mode transitions for the I/O controller from RUN to STOP or from STOP to
RUN can take several miliseconds, until the mode transition for the inputs and outputs of all
I/O modules for the ET 200MP station is completed. This is also true for isochronous mode.
Startup sequence for commissioning the ET 200MP
1. Turn on the system supply voltage for the ET 200MP.
2. Turn on the load voltage supply (PM), if necessary.
