3.4 Switching on and testing the HMI device

The Start Center opens after the operating system has started.
You operate the Start Center using the buttons on the touch screen or a connected mouse or
keyboard.
Press the "Transfer" button to set the
HMI device to "Transfer" mode.
The "Transfer" mode can only be
activated when at least one data
channel has been enabled for the
transfer.
Press the "Start" button to start the
project on the HMI device.
Press the "Settings" button to start
the "Settings" page of the Start
Center.
You can change various settings on
this page, for example, the transfer
settings.
Switching off the HMI device
1. Close any active projects on the HMI device.
2. Switch off the HMI device. You have the following shutdown options:
Switch off the power supply.
Unplug the power supply connector from the HMI device.
