6.3.3 Configuring messages (faults and alarms)
The properties of the faults and alarms in the drive system are permanently de-
fined.
The following can be configured for some of the messages within a permanently
defined framework for the drive system:
S Change message type (example)
Select message Set message type
p2118[5] = 1001 p2119[5] = 1: Fault (F)
= 2: alarm (A, alarm)
= 3: no message (N, no report)
S Change fault reaction (example)
Select message Set fault reaction
p2100[3] = 1002 p2101[3] = 0: none
= 1: OFF1
= 2: OFF2
= 3: OFF3
= 4: STOP1 (being developed)
= 5: STOP2
= 6: DCBRAKE (being developed)
= 7: ENCODER (p0491)
S Change acknowledgement (example)
Select message Set acknowledgement
p2126[4] = 1003 p2127[4] = 1: POWER ON
= 2: IMMEDIATELY
Note
S If BICO interconnections exist between drive objects, all interconnected objects
must be configured.
Example:
The TM31 has BICO interconnections with drive 1 and 2 and F35207 is to be
reconfigured as an alarm.
--> p2118[n] = 35207 and p2119[n] = 2
--> This must be set for TM31, drive 1 and drive 2.
