3.6.5 Creating a PLC commissioning archive
Requirement
● If possible, the "Program blocks" folder should not contain any program blocks of not
activated axes/spindles or the tool management.
You can also save unused program blocks in the archive, although this extends the time
required for creating and loading the archive.
● The
data carrier to be used or storage location is available and has sufficient storage space.
Note
Handling of F-blocks for SINUMERIK archives
The handling of F-blocks depends on the used Safety Integrated mode:
● If
Safety Integrated is inactive or Safety Integrated (SPL) is active, F-blocks are not stored
in the SINUMERIK archive.
● In Safety Integrated plus (F-PLC) mode, F-blocks are saved in PLC commissioning
archives.
