5.5.1 DRIVE-CLiQ wiring
Introduction
The components of the SINAMICS S120 drive family and the control unit are interconnected
using DRIVE-CLiQ. When connecting the components, please note the following rules.
Rules for wiring DRIVE-CLiQ
The following rules must be observed when wiring DRIVE-CLiQ:
Ring wiring is not permitted.
Components must not be double-wired.
A maximum of 8 nodes can be connected in one row. A row is always regarded as
starting at the control unit.
Up to one Line Module, 6 Motor Modules (a Double Motor Module counts as 2 nodes)
and 3 direct measuring systems may be connected to one control unit.
