Hinged covers with correctly sized cutout can be ordered as an accessory.
Ⴠ 3RW5 HMI Standard (accessory) or 3RW5 HMI High Feature (accessory)
Ⴠ Detached hinged cover without cutout (Page 76)
Ⴠ Solid, sharp knife
Procedure
Ⴠ Make sure that you know which 3RW5 HMI you require the cutout for.
Cutout 1: 3RW5 HMI Standard
Cutout 2: 3RW5 HMI High Feature
Ⴠ Cut out the required cutout along the perforated line on the rear of the hinged cover using
a solid, sharp knife.
Ⴠ Deburr the cut edges of the hinged cover.
Result
You have cut out the hinged cover for a 3RW5 HMI and can installed a
3RW5 HMI High Feature (Page 61) or 3RW5 HMI Standard (Page 58) in the
3RW52 soft starter.
