Note that remote parameterization by means of the HW configuration is only
effective if you have set the "VTHR (V)" selector switch (1) on the device to the
"REN" position.
Configuring symbols
To interconnect the driver block of the control program with a symbolic address at a
later time, parameterize the I/O addresses of the DC UPS using symbols.
Proceed as follows:
1. Select the DC UPS (1) in the hardware configuration.
2. Highlight module "UPS1600 xxA PN" (2) on slot 0.2 and execute menu
3. Click on the "Add to Symbols" pushbutton. This automatically adds the
standard address symbols.
4. Compile and load the hardware configuration.
