The FACP audio system provides the following functionality.
 Automatic, Pre-recorded Messages, which automatically play in response to system
events. For example, when a fire alarm is detected on the system, a message known as the
Primary Evacuation message automatically plays.
 Manually Selected, Pre-Recorded Messages. Some systems are capable of playing a
prerecorded message when a specific button is pressed. For example, you may press a button
to play an attention tone and phrase before using the microphone to make a live audio
announcement.
 Live Audio. Microphones connected to the audio system allow operators to issue live
announcement messages.
