The screen is 512 pixels across and 256 pixels deep. Only the solid colours:
black
red
green
white
can be displayed
in this mode.
Low resolution mode also has a hardware flash.
The screen is 256 pixels across and 256 pixels deep. The full set of solid colours is 256 mode
available in this mode:
blue
red
magenta
green
cyan
yellow
white
A domestic television is not capable of displaying the complete OL screen. Portions of warning
the screen at the top and the sides will not be reproduced. The default Initial window
will take account of this and will reduce the effeclive picture size. The full size can be
restored with
the WINDOW command.
