8. Warm up the engine by running it for 5 minutes and
check for engine oil leaks.
9. After the engine is warm, shut it off and let it sit for
10 minutes.
10. Recheck the engine oil level.
11. Add engine oil to the engine oil filler port as needed
until the level is between the upper and lower lines
shown on the dipstick.
Cooling System
It is recommended to replace the coolant every year or
after 1000 hours of operation.
Check the Cooling System
1. When the engine is cold, the coolant level in the
tank should be at or slightly above the LOW (COLD)
mark on the coolant reserve tank.
2. If the coolant level is at the FULL (HOT) mark when
the engine is cold, the coolant will expand when it
becomes hot and possibly spray out of the overflow
hose.
3. Check the radiator hoses for cracks, abrasions, cuts
or other damage. Replace if necessary.

1. After the engine and radiator have cooled suffi-
ciently (to the temperature below 50°C/122°F),
carefully remove the radiator cap.
2. Place an appropriate container under the discharge
outlet.
3. Remove the drain plug at the bottom of the radiator.
4. Drain the engine coolant.
5. Drain the coolant from the engine block.
1) On models not equipped with an oil cooler, re-
move the coolant drain plug from the engine
block.

2) On models equipped with an oil cooler, remove
the coolant hose at the oil cooler.

6. After draining the engine coolant, flush the radiator
and engine block to remove any rust, scale and
contaminants.
7. Then reinstall and tighten the drain plug in the radia-
tor. Reinstall and tighten the engine block drain plug
or reconnect the coolant hose at the oil cooler.
