6.4.2 Metering devices with bypass
bores
Metering devices with bypass bores are pref-
erably used when an impair number of out-
lets is needed. In case of metering devices
with bypass bores outlet numbers 1 and
2 are internally cross-ported (drilled with
each other). By doing so and different from
metering devices without bypass bores the
output volume on metering device level 1-2
can be doubled at the opposite open outlet
by closing one outlet (1 or 2).

marked with a double arrow.
