Motion Detection:
- If disconnected from the external power supply when the
device is powered on, the system will display the alert
message “Press OK to power off or enter Parking mode
after 10 sec”. This means the system will enter Motion
Detection automatically in 10 seconds, and then the LCD
screen turns off (the device will turn off the screen
temporarily, but will remain in standby detection status.
Press any button to turn on the operation screen and
resume normal loop recording).
- In Motion Detection mode, when the device detects any
motion in front of the lens, automatic recording will be
activated.
- In this mode, when the device detects any motion in front
of the lens, video recording will be triggered and the event
will be recorded for 10 seconds (per file). If the event lasts
more than 10 seconds, the device will continue recording
up to 2 minutes.
- In this mode, the device is in standby mode until an event
happens. This mode will consume more battery power.
- To disable this function, in the standby mode or motion
detection recording, press any key to wake up the screen,
and resume normal loop recording; or when the car engine
is started again, it will be return to normal loop recording.
Note:
1. If the battery is fully charged, it can record about 30 minute’s video in
Motion
Detection
mode. As the device is used, the battery storage capacity will decrease
gradually. This is a normal phenomenon for the battery.
2. The video files taken in
Vibration Detection
mode will be saved in the Event
recording folder, which will not be overwritten by normal video files.
3. The video files taken in
Motion Detection
mode will be saved in the normal recording
folder.
