7 STOP button
Press this to stop tape playback,
rewind, or other operations.
8 PLAY button
Press this to play the tape.
When the PLAYER button indicator is
lit, this plays back the tape on the
player. When the RECORDER button
indicator is lit, this plays back the tape
on the recorder.
9 PAUSE button
Press this to pause playback or
recording of a tape.
Press once more to restart playback or
recording.
0 REC (record) button
Press this to record on the recorder.
!¡ Jog dial
During playback, turn
counterclockwise for reverse jog
playback, or clockwise for forward jog
playback.
!™ Shuttle ring
Turn counterclockwise to rewind or
clockwise to fast forward.
During playback, turn
counterclockwise for reverse
playback, or clockwise for forward
playback.
!£ EDIT button
Press this to carry out editing of a
program.
!¢ MARK OUT button
Press this to set the OUT point of a
cut.
!∞ PREVIEW button
Press this to preview an edited
program.
!§ MARK IN button
Press this to set the IN point of a cut.
