Power Supply
Power supply to this unit
The Video Walkman supplies power to this unit. It is
recommended to use the Video Walkman with an AC adaptor.
The system will operate from a battery, but in this case care
must be taken with the battery operating time.
Energy-saving measures when using a battery power supply
To limit the power consumption of the player, it is best not to
use the LCD display on the player.
When the recorder is stopped, and during editing (when
recording), the player video appears on the recorder screen.
Therefore, it is possible to carry out editing with only the
recorder LCD display. There is no problem with using the LCD
display on the player, but since this will reduce the battery
operating time, it is not recommended.
This unit has a lithium battery for backup purposes, so that the
contents of the edited programs are preserved even when it is
powered off.
It is therefore possible to make the editing decisions in the
field, and save them for later recording.
If you are using the unit from a battery, by moving somewhere
provided with an AC power supply, you can complete the
recording operation without fear of power problems.
