Turning on or off the speaker output (Speaker Output)
You can turn on or off the speaker output of your IC recorder. While the speaker output is turned off, no sound comes out
of the built-in speaker when the headphones are unplugged from the jack.
Descriptions of menu items
You can select one of the following items:
ON:
The sound comes out of the built-in speaker (default setting).
OFF (Mute):
No sound comes out of the built-in speaker.
Note
While [ON] is set to [Speaker Output], no sound comes out of the built-in speaker as long as the headphones are plugged to your
IC recorder.

Select [
Settings] - [Common Settings] - [Speaker Output] from the HOME menu, and then press
(play/enter/stop).

Press
(review/fast backward) or (cue/fast forward) to select [ON] or [OFF (Mute)], and then press
(play/enter/stop).

Press and hold BACK/HOME to return to the HOME menu.
