Both the attachment of lifting equipment to the truck
and the hoisting operation itself must be performed
by personnel experienced in hoisting.
Lifting and transporting the industrial
truck
DANGER
If the raised industrial truck swings in an uncontrol-
led manner, it may crush people. There is a risk of
fatal injury!
– Never walk or stand underneath suspended loads.
– Do not allow the industrial truck to bump into any-
thing while it is being lifted, or allow it to move in
an uncontrolled manner.
– If necessary, restrain the industrial truck using
guide ropes.
– Carefully lift the industrial truck and take
care when setting it down at the intended
location.
Transporting the truck
Procedure
– Lay the lashing strap(1) over the chassis
– Attach to the transport vehicle, and tension
it sufficiently.
– Secure the wheels(2) with chocks to pre-
vent slipping.
The truck can now be transported.
