powercycle [-f]
Performs a poweroff followed by poweron.
The -f option forces an immediate
poweroff, otherwise the command attempts
a graceful shutdown.
sc> powercycle
poweroff [-y] [-f]
Removes the main power from the host
server. The -y option enables you to skip the
confirmation question. The -f option forces
an immediate shutdown.
sc> poweroff
poweron [-c] [FRU]
Applies the main power to the host server or
a particular FRU.
sc> poweron HDD1
reset [-y] [-x] [-c]
Generates a hardware reset on the host server.
The -x option generates an XIR (externally
initiated reset). The -y option enables you to
skip the confirmation question.
sc> reset -x
setalarm critical|
major|minor|user on|off
Turns the alarm and associated LED on and
off.
sc> setalarm critical on
setkeyswitch [-y] normal |
stby | diag | locked
Sets the virtual keyswitch. The -y option
enables you to skip the confirmation question
when setting the keyswitch to stby.
sc> setkeyswitch diag
setlocator on|off
Turns the Locator LED on the server on or off.
This function is available only on host servers
that have Locator LEDs.
sc> setlocator on
showcomponent Displays system components and their
current state. The showcomponent command
may not report all blacklisted DIMMS.
sc> showcomponent
showfaults [-v]
Displays current system faults. The -v option
provides verbose output.
sc> showfaults
showenvironment
Displays the environmental status of the host
server. This information includes system
temperatures, power supply status, front
panel LED status, hard drive status, fan
status, voltage and current sensor status, and
rotary switch position.
sc> showenvironment
showkeyswitch
Displays the status of the virtual keyswitch.
sc> showkeyswitcht
showlocator
Displays the current state of the Locator LED
as either on or off. This function is available
only on host servers that have Locator LEDs.
sc> showlocator
Locator LED is ON
shownetwork [-v]
Displays the current network configuration
information. The -v option shows additional
information about your network, including
information about your DHCP server.
