3.6 Storage Drives
Drive Cage
The removable drive cage is accessed by removing the left chassis cover. Power must be
removed from the system before removing or installing drives. The cage can house up to four
Removing the Drive Cage
1. Power down the system and remove the left cover.
Use a Phillips screwdriver to remove the two screws at the top of the cage that secure it
to the side of the chassis.
the large release holes in the cage bracket are centered on the holding studs.
4. Lift the cage up and out of the chassis.
Install or remove drives as described on the next pages.
