6. ENGINE REMOVAL

Removal of Engine
Open seat and remove the luggage box (6 bolts
and 1 screw).
Remove the rear carrier (4 bolts).
Remove the battery cover (2 screws).
Remove the battery negative (-) post.
Remove the battery positive (+) post.
Remove the tail light connector.
Remove the right and left body cover (2 bolts).
Disconnect the auto by-starter wire connector.
Disconnect the A.C.G wire connectors.
Remove the starter motor wire from relay.
Remove the spark plug cap.
Remove the fuel pipe, vacuum tube and throttle
valve wire from carburetor.
Loosen the screw of air cleaner duct strip, and
then remove the duct.
