Final Drive Mechanism Disassembly
Remove driven pulley.
Drain gear oil out from gear box.
Remove gear box cover bolts and then remove the
cover and drive shaft.
Remove final gear and shaft.
Remove counter shaft and gear.
Remove gasket and dowel pin.
Remove the drive shaft.
In order to avoid damaging the gear box cover, in
the cover place a rag between the cover and table.
Caution
y If non- essential do not remove the drive
shaft from the cover upper side.
y If remove the drive shaft from the gear box
cover, then its bearing has to be replaced.
